#### **Notes:**
Sourced from the old ADV DVD, which featured moderate amounts of frame blending. Minor aliasing and significant dotcrawl were eliminated. Severe haloing was present, necessitating very aggressive dehaloing to clean up. Luma-adaptive grain matching was applied in the dark & midtone regions to ameliorate macroblocking and minor banding in the source without harming shadow detail along with light luma sharpening. Finally, chroma noise was eliminated along with some residual rainbowing. DVD extra included.
OCR'd subtitles were taken from **_SSP-Corp_**'s [**release**](https://nyaa.si/view/958000) and QC'd by me to fix minor typos, add/correct a few lines, tighten timings to fix scene bleeds, add styling, combine and split certain sequential lines for better flow, as well as restore Japanese name ordering and honorifics. Original unmodified DVD sub tracks also included for those that might prefer them.

Thanks, it really delivers on the spooky atmosphere and was considered in many contemporary reviews as a sort of cousin to the unrelated sengoku horror OVA Youtouden.
The late great seiyuu Shiozawa Kaneto who voices the antagonist Marou also had a bit too much fun in delivering a villainous monologue in episode 02 @ 22:00 in my opinion.
