Did you purchase the books? because, JNC changed their drm thus only removing the username in copyright page is not enough. Just a heads up to let you know.
@ Minion12 and uploader ... I would love to know if there are any good solutions to that problem, about DRM that is more deeply coded than just on the copyright page ... because I have books that I would love to share in here ... but I have not been able to figure out how to remove my name that is coded in to the entire pub (like as part of the page numbering), not just on to one page ... it looks like it uses some sort of programming like html, java, or similar high level language to encode name information all throughout the book ...when I tried to delete the lines of code by just deleting them on the pages, it also deleted the text on the page ... if anyone knows how to remove that coded infor I would be very happy to share the I have as soon as I remove the DRM on the books
What do you mean your name is part of page numbering? And what do you mean your name information is all throughout the book? From my understanding, it's not throughout the book but just in some specific places. Note that we are playing a cat and mouse game, they'll keep changing their drm methods with time, so what works today doesn't mean it will work tomorrow. As for this torrent, there's an additional line of jnc book copy in the opf file, delete it. Then there's also something fishy about the images. If you need further help, there's people just around the corner who might be able to help you.
Just a technical question, I'm not too familiar with anything other than calibre, how feasible would it be to 'rebuild' an ebook in sigil? As the archive is extractable, the text, images, fonts, layout and formatting are all easily accessible, would it be possible for someone to extract those and rebuild the entire .epub in sigil?
@komugi Maybe you could contact @Ganba (https://nyaa.si/view/1395142) and see if you can get info regarding DRM from them, as it would also help them out by supplying books for their maintenance on the collection of all the officially translated novels.
Why is there a calibre bookmark in the file? If you extract the file and check the meta-inf folder, there's a calibre bookmark file in there. I don't think it should be there. It ruins the book.
