Just logged in to say this, Miura was a god among mangakas. Berserk was an inspiration to thousands like Dark Souls. He created something that will be forever remember, Berserk is a journey, incomplete, but a memorable one. Rest in peace Miura sensei.

You gave us one of the best mangas of all time with such awesome art and details… Berserk & High School of the Dead… the two mangas where I couldn’t see the ending due to the sad and unfortunate demise of their mangakas. Berserk will always be up there… even if I couldn’t see the end.

RIP Miura. Still shock last night and could not sleep. It's still unbelievable that he passed away so soon. People complained how Miura, Togashi and others take their time with long breaks and all. You just don't know what's happening in the background. Truly the one of the Gods of Manga for me. Berserk may or may not continue with his notes most likely been passed on to his assistants. It's going to be interesting if the new Berserk Studio (which was set up just a few years ago) for more Berserk content. Will continue the work or not. My favorite too was TRINITY BLOOD. Supposedly the artists circle continued it until the "ending" but could not come up with a respectable ending to the artists's taste, who also died early. High School of the Dead, same thing. Publisher had the materials and the temp artist ready but felt it was disrespectful, as the artist (before he passed away) had a script ready where the story was headed.
