Hello!! this is my first time watching anything eva related. Should i watch the netflix version or the original one ? I dont really care about the OSTs and subtle diffrences between them.

Watch the TV show first. Then watch end of evangelion, then these movies. Death and rebirth is unnecessary.

As @Jeo_228 said, watch the show first. I recommend getting either Sephirotic’s or 2D4U’s releases. Then get my End of Eva release, and finally the rebuilds if you feel like it.

oh, my bad. no, the encodes of 3.333 have a number of issues. they have a strange colorspace that isn’t supported by many displays, and also seems to have its white balance messed up. this also creates issues with the subtitles, as colors won’t properly match. the main feature of the new release was an upscale and slight animation changes, however the upscale was done quite poorly and the animation changes are very minor. i might consider 3.333 if a better encode comes out by the time i redo subtitles for the movies.

3.0+1.0 is finally showing in cinemas in my country this week, and I’m planning to watch everything back-to-back for a hell of an experience
