ITDB does have a fair amount of aliasing but it looks better than Meguca in every other aspect.

why you go through all the trouble of making the audios in flac? it's not like it reduced the size by a lot. and people downloading this torrent definitely won't care about file size when it's already so large. you could have made your work a lot easier by leaving it as raw audio. as a second question, do you have anything else planned too? I liked your run with the wind release and hoping for some other good ones in the future. thanks.

I used english audio from Nep_Blanc's release instead of getting the entire USBD. So for the sake of consistency I converted Japanese audio from DTS to FLAC. While syncing both audios in Audacity I had the option to export english audio as 16-bit so I did that instead of 24-bit since the difference is inaudible. > do you have anything else planned too? Yes, I might release Cross Game by next week. I am also working on Seitokai Yakuindomo but slowly.

I don't mess with an audio streams bit rate-if it's 24 bits that what it stays at. I also don't convert either DTS HD MA or Dolby True HD to flac.

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to differentiate between 192kbps OPUS and FLAC. Forget 24bit vs 16bit lol. DTS-HD MA and TrueHD to FLAC conversions are lossless and do not cause any loss in quality at all.

There are already multiple good ITBD encodes, Meguca and VCB immediately come to mind. Still good to have a remux out there tho.

@zangafan Meguca is cropped in 1920x820 scenes (others too but it's clearly visible here) [(comparison)](https://slow.pics/c/f9U5TUbB) and wipes out/blurs details in some darker areas [(comparison)](https://slow.pics/c/fi8cjZ7f). It's a good encode but worse than source, except for AA. VCB is a trash encode and not even worth comparing.
