if you like video artifacts sure. Beatrice's encode looks significantly better than Coalgirls.

I tend to agree with anon. CG's video has a lot of haloing and some visual noise / grain / alias artifacting from I guess slight sharpening.

@valid Sure, but it's not natural grain. It's encoding artifacts creating extra visual noise. Just do a comparison with beatrice and A/B compare at 300% zoom. Sometimes grain can even be detrimental to the watching experience and distracting as well when it's so prevalent and flips every single frame, such as with Chotab's Cowboy Bebop encode compared to fussoir's denoised encode.
