Thanks. Is your source H264 1080i or MPEG2?
The MPEG2 feed should be less bad quality.

Low effort TV encode.

TV source, meaning it was a 1080i MPEG-2 source originally, and was deteleclined. All TVRips are MPEG-2 mostly in Japan by default lol.

Is your source H264 1080i or MPEG2?

MPEG-2 is always h262, not h264
