They didn't do any cliffhangers at the end of this cour just like Shingeki no Kyojin, so now we just have to survive until summer, for part 2.

11 was literally the only good episode so far. Better than even all of the first season but the pacing of the second season sucked so hard it´s not possible to put it into words. They could easily put The whole awakening arc into 8 episodes. after that another 8 for Walpurgis and another 8 for Hinata rematch. This would have easily been possible without being overpaced. Other than episode 11 all episodes were so damn slow and shitty it´s just one big dissappointment.

@Segment, having read the novel... the restoration of Veldora isn't the end of volume 5, there are some topics that wrap up as well as precursors to volume 6 & an epilogue of Clayman talking to himself and a subordinate [i think, it's been a minute]. So it kind of is a cliff-hanger. Additionally, while S01 [24eps] covered Volumes 1-4... S02 Pt 1 [12eps] only covered most of Volume 5. S02 pacing is 50% slower than S01

I didn't think S2 was slow. When light novels made into animation, so many novel animes messed up by lots of cuts.

Well as I trolled about to the point of getting blocked by most people on their site. Most of what people are complaining about with the pacing of S2 is the fact that they had to go back and cover stuff that they skipped in Season 1. Nearly all of the first few episodes of S2 where covering things that should have happened before he started teaching. And there are still a bunch of things missing from the story.

@Hadeshii God I'm a little scared if they're going to explain Shions skill right in the Anime. As stupid as her skill sounds it's actually the most broken ability in the game. (Shion was the wielder of 'Envy' in the Web Novels.) Please don't quote me on that because this anime actually isn't based on the original. It's a complete remake.

Eh is this a spoiler? Shion's skill is "Chef" its because Rimuru always Liked Shuna cooking better than hers... So yeah, Her unique skill becomes one of the most lethal ones... That funny walking pair of tits, she's.... Um yeah... It's the "Sin of Envy" that's behind all of her moves...
