You are right. You can see more small details in your encode when you zoom in. But, zoomed out as you'd normally watch it the difference is there, but it's very slight. I doubt most people would notice. What do you mean by "soap"? Your encode is much better in that scene, SCY's looks too soft. That banding is terrible, that's true. The aliasing is very hard to notice zoomed out. Your encode is better overall, though. The detail is better even if it's not that noticeable zoomed out. The noise isn't that noticeable zoomed out either. Who's gonna time DDY to this, though?
