subs from where?
Unfortunate, the video quality is disappointing...

@Yukino a4e subs that I quickly stylized (=changed font).
@Moses35i I think this release has the best video quality out of any that have been put on Nyaa so far. The problem is that the source blurays are pretty shit if we're being honest. There are no HD master copies so the upscale suffers from bad blurriness and haloing. There's no fix except for heavy sharpening which I'm glad they didn't go with. All the bloated 1080p releases are pretty useless desu.
After comparing 10 releases for this series, I think the highest video quality is a toss-up between [GB] and this one, [GFD]. GB is uncropped, has the cleanest video, and keeps the grain, but the interlacing artifacts are quite bad (as with most releases of this show). GFD mostly fixes the interlacing artifacts and retains more detail, but it also has more encoding artifacts, I suspect due to degraining. Worth noting: GFD was encoded using CRF, whereas GB was encoded using 2pass. Overall, I slightly prefer GFD, but GB is arguably the purest and has dual-audio.
