sameer, MDS files are required for burning to DVD9’s as it contains the layer break information.
Seems Set 1 Disc 1 at least are in the wrong filesystem. Haven’t checked any other discs.
If they aren’t in UDF then they’re basically useless as ISO’s.
oh okay. i don’t burn DVDs nowadays. back in the day, it used to be mdf where i needed mds too.
can’t say much about the files in the torrent, but not being in UDF doesn’t make it useless only limits you if your software / hardware can’t handle other formats or UDF particularly well.
@JustAfan For the moment no.
@AwfulCaps I don’t have them.
@Michael_Angelo Blurays are just a bad upscale of dvds.
@anon5100 It is complicate to fix that, maybe in the future.
Burning isn’t too much of an issue nowadays but the MDS is still nice to have.
The file system not being UDF makes it not in line with the DVD standard if I remember correctly. As it stands, DVD players and such as well as VLC can’t play back these files without re-making the ISO’s. If anyone was looking for 1:1 copies, this ain’t it. Most likely the DVD’s were copied with dodgy software.
For those just looking to play back the ISO’s without caring about burning or keeping the original ISO’s intact, you can extract the ISO’s using WinRAR or similar programs and it’ll spit out the contents of the ISO file. VLC and other players should be able to play back the “VIDEO_TS” folders no problem. You can use ImgBurn to easily re-make the ISO’s if you prefer ISO’s, but you won’t have a 1:1 copy of all the discs metadata and sector information anymore.
UDF isn’t the only standard, there are others too. even UDF exists in different level standards and if your software / hardware doesn’t support the level which was used for disc image, it anyways won’t be able to do anything. even WinRAR or other archive programs or media players need to be aware of the standard to extract / play properly. the sector info & metadata is only needed if you want 1:1 copy that includes the protection systems used otherwise a decrypted disc image doesn’t need sector info. just my two cents.
How are you guys so ignorant about just using mpc-hc with madvr and upping the actual quality as well as the saturation and luminance which you can also do as well in nvidia control panel? Honestly its not to difficult to easily make a profile for bleach to get the contrast and brightness everything else you need just to make it look even better then the dvd themselves its 2021 madvr has been out for so many years. It is very easy to use or nvidia control panel. I do this on all my animes and movies tv shows etc.
@samir755 Serious? I thought this is the US version of DVDISO but it is the French version.
You don’t have English subtitles?
Can you upload Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion as well?
Anyway thank you.
@KogamiShinya because the ISO files haven’t been created properly. They’re in the wrong filesystem for whatever dumb reason, so, you’ll need to extract the ISO files. You can use WinRAR for this.
@KogamiShinya Everything works perfectly, you don’t need to extract the files, use PowerDVD or something similar to play it.
@AwfulCaps The only thing dumb here is you.
looks good, downsides maybe that it is interlaced, and the vob files dont split by episodes so it takes time to make them into for example mkv epiodes if i dont have or dont want to use a dvd player
Great source! However I’ve been trying to get rid of the interlacing or telecine (I don’t know which artifact it is) in the source but my results always come up poor. Anyone have any suggestions?

Nice. Thanks!
By chance, do you have the Original Evangelion series on DVD as well?
AwfulCaps
A lot of these discs are DVD9’s. Do you have the MDS files to go along with these?
Michael_Angelo
@samir755 Thanks so much for this! I’ve been really into your uploads recently.
Also, what’s the issue with the Bleach BDs?
I’m assuming an overuse of DNR, similar to the DBZ BDs?

Thank you for this AMAZING collection!!
Btw I’m noticing Movie 2 is not included.
samir755 (uploader)

Okay, this is better than blurays, especially for post episode 167
But is the DVD better than the TV?
Thanks
samir755 (uploader)
It is also better than blurays after 167 and till the last episode it will remain the same i think. TV also are just bad upscales.
ajp1711
If I am correct, this does not have English audio or English subtitles?

@KogamiShinya I think there is no ‘US’ anywhere, only R2J and also R2FR for Movies 1 and 3.
KogamiShinya
@samir755 Why the DVD menu can’t be played? I also can’t forward and backward jump the videos.

The Blu-Rays (as well as the R1 DVDs) do have their uses though. Such as for the blank sponsor cards (minus OP1)

But i think i maybe found a solution to both
tudos4
Maybe not for the former.
What you guys usually use for deinterlacing video?
tudos4
i solved that too so dont need the help.
GoodGoyim
So why exactly is this better than the bluerays?

If this ever stops seeding, you can download all of the ISOs here: https://archive.org/details/BR2JDVDISOS
