AT-X raws have been detelecined, and upscaled from the wonky 1440x1080 resolution to full 1920x1080p using Topaz Video Enhance, which uses AI deep learning. It also does a really good job at deblocking, denoising and sharpening without losing any detail.
SubsPlease source has also been run through the Video Enhance filter to clean up blocky artifacts and banding effects.

Heh... if you though this one was bad.. then you should try ep2. That one had almost twice as many censored clips compared to this ep...
Also noticed first volume of BD is out. Will take a peek at that one and see if there is any point in video enhancing that. Otherwise i may leave it to another group to handle.

Well it sounded pretty insulting to me.. And I don't only use Topaz... But I prefer using it for final pass and i like the results it gives. And based on responses from people watching my releases, they seems to like the final results as well.
If you like using other upscalers, that's good for you I guess. But it's pretty shit attitude to throw out "newbie" terms and not bother explaining.
I'm not getting paid for this. I just do it for fun. And If you don't like my release, then download something else. If you got tips for improving it. then give tips. But using "newbie" shit is just childish elitist bullshit.
Bother explaining me why it isn't important to rescale stuff with good upsclaers when the show isn't even 1080p and forcing it to 1080p. I would like to telling me the natives of it? If you aren't new? Prove me wrong :)

Wow.. I decided to take a peek on what you consider "better" and checked out your latest release.. And quite frankly it looks like shit compared to mine. Grainy and full of color noise artifacts.. I'm unimpressed. Very newbie tier. ?
Now that I think about it.. It was you half assed tier early releases with zero deinterlacing that prompted me to make my own release. I'll admit that my earlier releases where a bit meh quality as I'm still re-learning a lot of shit, especially with HEVC. As it was like 20 years since I made any previous releases. And encoding standards and techniques have changed quite a lot. But as shown in my latest releases my quality levels have improved quite a bit. While yours still looks.. newbie.

I'd say Topaz does a pretty good job at what it does. Which is why I like using it over other upscalers..
If you're gonna go around calling people "newbies" Then at the very least back it up with some actual quality releases..

Honestly disappointing they didn't include any of the copious amount of rape mindbreak cannabalism that happened in the manga I been hyping this up to a friend too
@ParasiteX I think that even if a lot of people don't say it in comment, they love the job you're doing.
You're actually doing an amazing stuff and tbh your version is the best one (putting aside the BD that gonna come out soon)
