AT-X raws have been detelecined, and upscaled from the wonky 1440x1080 resolution to full 1920x1080p using Topaz Video Enhance, which uses AI deep learning. It also does a really good job at deblocking, denoising and sharpening without losing any detail.
SubsPlease source has also been run through the Video Enhance filter to clean up blocky artifacts and banding effects.

Made a slight change in encoding process and started using Constant Quality instead of 2-pass average. This speeds up the encoding process quite a bit. While maintaining a specific level of quality. But it is impossible to predict the final size of the video file. Oddly enough this particular episode happened to wind up at the exact same size as my previous eps.. In any case I did some experimenting with different advanced options to get a quality level that I was happy with. But expect future episodes to either wind up somewhat larger or smaller in size in the future, depending on how much motion and scene changes it has.
I also used a different encoder for AAC audio this time. The FDK encoder gives better quality at lower bitrates.
And yet again some weird inconsistencies on their standards for censorship in this ep.. Apparently showing a cow-man getting ass-raped by a giant bull is a-ok... ?♂️
Next weeks episode should be a spicy one ?
For those wondering what advanced options i'm using to encode this episode, it's these ones:
limit-sao:bframes=8:psy-rd=1.5:psy-rdoq=2:aq-mode=3 with CRF 17 and slow preset

lol my bad.. I tend to get overly technical at times. ?
But to sum it up, future eps will have slightly varying sizes in the future. So don't be surprised if next ep is larger or smaller. But I expect the variation to only be around +/- 50mb

Hmm. Seems tho that they are airing a double episode next week though. So don't really see much point and may as well just be a bit patient ?. Electricity is also a bit high here lately because of the great wisdom (retardation) of our local green party. So I want to avoid doing too much unnecessary processing.
