DoktorWeiss
Thanks Sxales.
@naiyas - Sxales already does HEVC encodes with 10bit color though.
naiyas
@DoktorWeiss Sxales previous releases was HEVC 8 bits
sxales (uploader)
@naiyas I’ll look into it again but in previous testing, decreasing the CRF value yielded a greater overall bump in quality than increased bit depth without impacting encode times.
DoktorWeiss
@naiyas - You’re right, I was mistaken.

How did you dealt with cut out scenes in 2001 Bandai Dub?
SomaHeir
Thanks!!

@Hark0n and anyone else asking the same question before downloading this.
Funimation spliced their English Dub into the Bandai/Oceanic dub to cover the missing scenes. While this sounds terrible in that the voices of established characters will change mid-episode the missing scenes tend to have little dialog and much of that little dialog is from side characters. Unless you have a really sharp ear or know exactly when the new scenes are and are paying extra attention for the switch, it’s not too noticeable. It’s also only for the first 7 episodes, after that no more additional scenes.

@DocKlokMan Thanks for answer, but it is partly incorrect.
Funimation released 2 copies of episodes 1-7 - Uncut and Broadcast. “Uncut” version contains only new Funimation dub, while “Broadcast” version contains only old Bandai dub - you can see this on the BD box.
If adding both dubs was as simple as copying them from US BD, I would not have asked about this.
To answer my own question, audio seems to be taken from torrent 885188. The method for synchronization is as described by DocKlokMan but it is not official (done by release group and not Funimation).
