I commented this a few moments ago on episode 1 but thought I should delete and post here instead. I’m getting an issue where subs are stretched horizontally, is there anything specific I need to do? I’m using VLC, if that helps

Before she's saying she's going to die, she says something like motto fukashi kushite which translates to "make it deeper" but that doesn't make any sense maybe it's "It's to deep! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die!"? It's really hard to hear cuz it's a scream. Also there's a lot more in the "don't cum in me" section than this one, she goes more specific, "A commoners seed, kitanai(disgusting)..." EDIT: Oh I'm retarded, motto yasashiku shite. Be gentler

@Ingenioussubs I think it's cause the video's resolution isn't ratio'd properly. Mediainfo is showing it at 1440x1080, which is definitely not in the 16:9 ratio

@Kwoey not in this episode. It's not the original translator's fault. The censored version also censored some words and altered voice lines so the original sub was translated based on those censored lines.

xOmnium a way to fix that is to re-encode the video into true 1920x1080 or wait for someone to release a raw file that is 1920x1080.

How hard is it to click ok to aegisub's automatic promt to resample? The subs appear stretched because they are sampled to 848x480 and the video is 1440x1080, this is a subber's fuck-up.

lol wtf. just checked and yes the subs aren’t resampled. actually a shame to the uploader as it takes 10 seconds to do this

The subtitle looks REALLY bad with godawful font size. everything is so stretched and so different from the screenshot that you presented in the description
