Wow! Thank you, so much, for all the great Lupin IIIs in perfect quality! Loving it. I only had a few, previously, with hard-subs, and else with a pretty bad resolution (compared to today-standards), from the time when movie torrents were 730 Mb (which was the max size one could store on a CD, (no 8 Tb hard-drives in those days) and when the largest I had was a 32" Sony Trinitron fat TV. Now, I will replace them, and add all those I didn't have before. Thank youuu! Great job, well done!
@JackAssborn, this is just a complete remux rip from my old DVD's i stored away a long time ago, there are better versions of here higher quality than DVD, but they're re-encode. Yeah i remember downloading movies at around 700MB with very slow internet, times have changed. Also finding older animation, animation in general in mid 2000s online was like impossible, had to only buy the DVD's. Around 2004-06 onwards it became a bit easy online but still internet was slow, also forums started to pop up. This generation has it very easy for them to download what they want online now, which is good :) I still have some old VHS and Laserdisc. Do you download 4k stuff? i tend to try and get all the 4k old animations on here haha. I might upload some 4k remux animation later, but they're very big, around 60-100GB..
glm8892, I just got a 4k TV a couple of month go, and I still haven't downloaded any 4k yet. Neither have I any blu-rays with 4k. I tested a few 4k streams from iTunes, and that was kinda wow. And in my cinema I only have a 1920x1080p projector anyway, so I'm happy with "simple HD" for the time being. And the 4k TV (an 86" LG) also does an excellent job with the interpolation of 1080p. (I only watch real movies in the cinema, and series and others and such on the TV in the living-room. Besides, I have no 4k-player yet, either, and none of my computers is capable of 4k either. Furthermore, my amplifiers, in which the source-HDMI-signal goes for the audio, can't do 4k, either.)
@JackAssborn, the problem with 4k films is it takes a long time to download, not everyone has fast internet, unless you buy the disc, but there are some 4k films done very bad. Lawrence of Arabia (1963) and The Wizard of Oz (1939) on 4k looks very beautiful to look at, worth buying physical copy. In a few years 4k will be the norm and replace HD 1080p, 8k has started. I wish they release more classic animation on 4k remastered, the only classic animation they release on 4k i like, Akira (1988), Space Adventure Cobra (1982), Ashita no joe 2 (1981). I wish they made a collection of classic Nippon Animation, World Masterpiece Theater on BluRay. By the way i was able to finish the torrent Fushigi no Kuni no Alice, i message the uploader and ask if they could reseed, they did, this took so long to download nearly 6 months and 15 peers.. If you find the english subtitles for this series let me know as I'm interested.
Is there a DVD, SD on BD, or such, in the classic series, to be found anywhere? If you find it, (well, I didn't) I happily share the costs with you. Besides, the one from Sailor isn't all that great a quality, looks like some old-time VHS copy. (Not complaining, or dissing it in any way, just compared with your SD on BD versions.)
@JackAssborn, Which one are you talking about, Fushigi no Kuni no Alice?
Thanks for all Lupin DVDs!
@JackAssborn, I've never seen DVDs or a BluRay release of Fushigi no Kuni no Alice (1983) i would really love to own a physical copy myself, i also want them to release The Adventures of Peter Pan (1989) even if these where on DVD, BluRay, i bet they're expensive, if you look on ebay most of these classic animation from Nippon, World Masterpiece Theater are super rare and expensive :( I don't know if this is HD Stream, but i really want to own this on DVD or BluRay https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%B8%E3%82%A7%E3%83%8E%E3%83%90%E3%81%AE%E5%B0%91%E5%B9%B4%E3%83%9E%E3%83%AB%E3%82%B3/dp/B00FIZ0VME 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother (母をたずねて三千里, Haha o Tazunete Sanzenri)
@SomaHeir, you’re welcome.
@glm8892 I have "3000 Leagues in Search of Mother - Haha o Tazunete Sanzenri" in 640x480p. I don't remember where I got it from. 52 episodes, 16 Gb. Se my screenshot for video quality and codec-details! Japanese audio with VOB-subs and srt:s, too. I guess you already know that it's directed by the great late Isao Takahata. https://i.ibb.co/PTQMzTn/Bild-2021-01-19-kl-18-26-10.jpg
@JackAssborn, i also got that version downloaded, is it by (neo1024) this one? https://nyaa.si/view/926092 i want to know if the amazon version is HD stream?
@glm8892 I dont know. My version is downloaded April 2015. https://nyaa.si/view/926092 is from 2017. But that maybe is the re-upload date, not the original neo1024 date. Anyway, the sizes of all episodes are all the same, so most likely it's that very same.
Yes, they are both the same. The ID-tag says "Marco - 08 [neo1024]". (I didn't notice there was an ID-tag, at first.)
