Re Zero: Frozen Bond + Memory Snow [Movies]
with Dual Audio (Jpn/Eng)
and Eng Subs
in BD 1080p HEVC
Reencode of [SCY] (x264 AVC FLAC) to (x265 HEVC AAC) with added English audio tracks from [Golumpa] and English subtitles from [KiruaSubs/SNuser + Sign inserts from Funi] and [BlurayDesuYo].
Side Note: I created additional [Signs & Songs] subtitle tracks from the [Dialog] subtitle tracks to go with the added English audio tracks. For Frozen Bond I took the above mentioned subtitles from [KiruaSubs/SNuser and found some nice sign styling in the Funimation subtitles that came with the English dub video from [Golumpa], so I merged these together. I had to cut up the English dub track multiple times and even insert some sequences from the Japanese audio track to fill some gaps whereever the BD release was different from the WEB release. If you spot any syncing problems with the English dub, please report it in the comments so I can fix them.

Synopsis
[Frozen Bond]
Covered in ice and snow, Elior Forest is the home to dangerous magical beasts and 50 elves frozen in ice. One day, the great spirit Puck helps a young girl break out of her ice prison. Her name is Emilia, a half-elf born with silver hair, long ears, and amethyst eyes—features that resemble the evil Witch who destroyed half the world long ago.
Shunned by society because of her appearance, Emilia dwells in the forest with Puck as her sole companion and family. Burdened with a sin of destruction she does not remember committing, she spends her days trying to find a way to help her frozen kin. But when the great spirit Melakuera, the Arbitrator of the world, finds Emilia, her right to stay alive is brought into question. Will the bonds of ice she formed with Puck prove to be the warm thread that defies fate?
[Memory Snow]
Subaru Natsuki finally gets to take a breather, but he does not waste any time as he prepares for a date with his beloved Emilia. He scouts the nearby village for the right dating spot, and with the help of the village children, he finds a wonderful location. With that, he is well prepared for his date!
Unfortunately for Subaru, cold weather suddenly sweeps across Roswaal’s mansion on his important day, leaving him with no choice but to postpone the date. Overnight, it becomes even colder and unbearable. Subaru must get to the bottom of this because, at this rate, his date will be the least of his worries.

Hmm? I thought the eng dub didn’t match the jp version… few seconds delay
neoborn (uploader)
There was a delay. Unfortunately not just a simple 2s delay over the whole track but many scene cuts where the releases differ. I cut the audio whereever needed and shiftet the segments to match the Japanese track and inserted some segments where they were present in the Japanese track but not in the English track to match them up again so there are no ‘silent’ spots where there shouldn’t be.

Thanks … more work than I wanted to do

@neoborn
Thank you for your hard work. Contributions like yours are why we are all here.

amazing work thanks

The pain we endure for dual audio releases. ?

I’m a subs not dubs kinda guy, but even so I have to acknowledge the love and commitment required to do all that you described concerning the English audio.
That’s really impressive!
And from a subs perspective, this also sounds like a gem.
Thank you!
DIEdieDIEok
Are you going to do the same with the directors cut of this show, I think the dub was released not too long ago on nyaa? Anyway thanks again for the awesome work.
neoborn (uploader)
@DIEdieDIEok
I already watched the first season (BD English dub) and therefor don’t really have a need for that season even for a directors cut. I make these versions mostly for stuff that is not here already in a similar form but since there are so many HEVC BD rips of season 1 with dual audio I just grab myself one of these.
BlinkA1
Many thanks for this awesome upload! Quality and file size is pretty superb! Hmm… Plus its in Dual Audio too which is fantastic!
Hmm… are you also going to upload Season 2 in Dual audio by any chance?
neoborn (uploader)
@BlinkA1
I’d like to have the other seasons in my library as well. I don’t really care if it’s my own version or a version of another HEVC encoder on this website. If none picks this up (which is very unlikely) I will definitively make my own. If somebody else beats me to it (which is most of the time with these popular shows) I am just as happy to take theirs (if its in a bitrate range that I’d like to have in my library). I have collected all dub tracks and some BDRips I’d go with (10/13) already. I drop my projects most of the time if there are similiar uploads available already. Probably this too, seeing how popular Re Zero is and how many uploads there will be with [BD HEVC Dual Audio]. We will see. Sometimes I’m just bored and do it anway regardless of other uploaders :D

Niceee!!

Great work, thanks

Wait so how was the English version different from JP exactly? JP had some bits and pieces that were abit longer or little extra scenes that english version didn’t?
neoborn (uploader)
@TechaNinja
Not so much extra scenes but cuts between scenes were different (duration). Also some scenes without talking were just a little while longer in the BD during which ambient noise (crickets, bird chirping and the sorts) was playing. That is what I inserted into the English track. There were some black screens with text where Emilia talks in the Japanese version but not in the English version, where it’s just silent (no voice over). I left it at that rather than inserting Emilias Japanese babbling :>
TechaNinja
So basically for some reason the english version got neutered?
neoborn (uploader)
@TechaNinja
I wouldn’t say that. With the exception of these short scenes where Emilia talks in the black screnes I couldn’t find any real additional content. The biggest differences were the cuts between scenes. The other thing I described were just to make sure everything lines up again after shifting around segments to compensate for these different scene cuts.
sameer
it would be too quick to call it neutered since the sources, BD and WEB, are different. to me it looks like BD got a few touch-ups which isn’t actually rare when a show releases on home media. Emilia not speaking might be dub choice idk.
looks like Scyrous has released a v2 dual audio and deleted his old ones.

Thanks for this, btw I love Emilia-tan
