You should take the screenshots in png format.

You're right, I have thought about this before. I don't take those as screenshots, I literally extract the frames from the video file in png format, but while uploading it Imgur it gets converted to jpeg for some reason. I didn't care to dig deeper into this since it seemed to serve it's purpose more or less.
