So, we are working with an international designation of an imaginary language long after the fact. 'Raymanian' is a tactless play on the word 'Romanian,' (yes I know other languages can have the '-an' suffix) but when used as a larger descriptor of the language, it fails to perform the function. When you think of 'Raymanian,' do you truly think of a language or a native to the land of 'Rayman?' This creates an entire new set of problems: Does Rayman live in the land of Rayman? Is Globox considered Raymanian? Are other creatures Raymanian, or is Rayman (& his pre-canon 'wife') the only Ramanian? And so on. The only way to fix this mess is to refer to the language itself as 'Raymanese.' Now we have a distinction between the language itself and the natives of the Glade of Dreams (the Glade of Dreams is the birthplace of Rayman & co. The Glade of Dreams was created by the god Polokus, a cognizant dreamer who can make any whim real (I fucking dare you to challenge Polokus, Azathoth. Polokus would fucking kick your ass because he can sleep and wake up without destroying everything around him) Once we finally make this distinction, then we can begin our true media analysis. Did you know that there are many connections between the Glade of Dreams and the Furude bloodline?
