it doesn’t take much time at all, and i don’t think you deserve any patreon support if you’re not willing to put this minimal amount of effort

My patreon have nothing common with fansubs. And I do maximum efforts there.

Chapters are useless anyway lol

chapters take like five minutes at most, why not put in that little bit of extra effort if you’re already doing a bunch of typesetting and whatever else?

Chapters are one of the most low-effort improvements to a release which actually makes a difference. Being able to quickly skip an OP you don’t like, or jumping to the OP or ED on a series you already watched because you want to watch just that part is very helpful.
I think that we more than ever needs a simple checklist for evaluating releases, with fan-subbing being dead and low-effort releases everywhere. Stuff like ‘is the OP/ED translated’, ‘are signs typeset’, ‘contains chapters’, etc. I have no idea what this release offers, and a simple rating system might actually encourage people to put a little bit more effort into it.
