Going with Commie over GotLag (at least for the episodes they actually got around to releasing) is a bit of a questionable decision, but I guess it's fine since you do have your own TLC as well.

@motbob thanks for the updated release! I have a question though, as I've been trying to understand how production resolutions work - why do it in 1080p? According to anibin this is produced in 720p, and your previous release was also in 720p, so I'm confused.

You should start recommending MadVR, too. MPC-HC alone doesn't have the high quality scalers that come bundled with mpv. Also, it has NGU, the best upscaler for DVD, which isn't included in mpv. Though, mpv's motion interpolation is much better than MadVR's or Reclock.
