[QCE] = Quality Compression Experiment [Erai-raws] 720p version with eng subs used as source This is a 1-man operation that is just for fun. I come from an ex-video editing background from several years ago and I'm trying out x264 re-encodes at small file sizes while trying to retain as much quality as possible for those with bandwidth limits. Let me know in the comments if the quality is acceptable (maybe download Erai's 720p for comparison and see if you can tell the difference) and I'll think about continuing with more episodes/series if there is demand for it

this is very great encode ,there is no noticable difference between this and erai's version, i will later try this on my phone when i get the chance and i'll inform you btw ,would it be ok to share the settings you used for this encode?

Thanks. All the encode settings can already be seen using MediaInfo. I'm not sure what else you mean
Personally, on a 23" monitor, I did see some minor grain especially when on characters when zoomed out (almost unnoticeable when the scene was zoomed in on a face, for example). That being said, I actively observed for differences between you encode and Erai-raws 720p (which I see as an overkill through and through ... 700MiB+ for a 25 min episode at 720p is just insane), which means that I wouldn't have noticed or bothered about it otherwise. This would definitely be my go to encode if I had bandwidth limitations and no x265 support.
