This looks quite worse than SSP-Corp’s R2J DVD-Rip.
Now, whether that is due to the source or the encode. I do not know, but the former is perhaps more likely.

Sentai Filmworks’ SD Blu-Rays tend to be pretty bad / worse than DVD, so I’d also bet on the source being the problem.
