OK, my apology. But I won't swap the torrent just for that.
Sure, not asking you to. But please at least run the script through some form of automated QC if you're adjusting TL for the BD revision and don't have someone else checking it. ![link2](https://i.imgur.com/G0yLNA6.png)
Thanks for the batch but could someone please seed?
Subtitles is Modified and not the Correct English Translation of Funimation. BD of Kaguya-sama S2 is not yet complete in JP BD and it has no subs.

@Kenneth01: ???
@MoeDesuDesu you completely altered the subtitles. And all the formatting made. Don't try to fool anyone See these samples! https://pasteboard.co/Jsmpew1.png https://pasteboard.co/JsmwVqL.png
Everytime i see ass (Advanced SubStation Alpha) subtitles that has different text outline color and moving, it's modified and altered. HAHAHA Nice try changing it. Try to keep the original subs soon on other release!

@Kenneth01: I'm not fooling anyone. I never made any claim that the subs are copy-pasted from the official translations. ![](https://i.imgur.com/DWhWagR.png) The TLs were not "correct" to begin with. There were many instances of totally incorrect TLs. Most of the line were too liberal. Further, inverse TL is another issue. Inverse TL refer to separated lines which are completely or partially inversely related to spoken dialogues. The lines were changed to address the above issues. Your comparison of the TLs are not justified. You must listen to the line and see if the TLs match with the spoken dialogue. I believe the timing won't match in your examples either. The sound effects signs were updated as well. Well, sound effects are rarely used in spoken English and English is literally weak when it comes to sound effects. See [this](http://thejadednetwork.com/sfx/browse/) and [this](http://mangastudies.com/sfx/?viewALL=JA). Many of sfx TLs are not sfx but words pertaining the meanings (example: uu (うう): sniff, whimper) Anyways, I cross checked all sfx and they are all good in the subs. To add, some sfx are kept as Japanese term such as "doki", "dogi-magi", etc. You are emphasizing on "try" and "try". No sir, I didn't try anything on this. I spent hundreds of quality time working on the subs. You are absolutely not in a position to tell me such things.
Stick to the original formatting and translation given by Funimation AniplexUS of Kaguya-sama S2. don't change the translation :>
Agree on @Kenneth01, you should stick to the original subs release provided by AniplexUS from Funimation on Kaguya-sama S2. Other rippers out there putting the original unmodified subs provided by different studios.

OK, you guys stick to the original HorribleSubs with **correct** translations. I'll do my own business.

Just added a sub pack to address existing TL issues. Many of the issues were original to the official subs. Find the ddl at the description section. Note that I won't make a patch since it's a waste of time.
Thanks a lot for making these.
Thank you for the subs, really appreciate your work. A few quick questions: What is they easiest way of using the updated subs? Is there a simpler way than remuxing the mkv with the updated sub? Also, in the first episode for some reason this part renders weirdly for me (both the original and the updated subs): ![screenshot](https://i.imgur.com/g0swGUS.png) I'm using mpv and tried messing around with SSA/ASS settings, but it made no difference. Any idea how i could fix it?
@okcvnoi try using mpc.

MoeDesuDesu (uploader)

User
@okcvnoi As idoman mentioned, try using MPC (with xy-VSFilter/xysubfilter). The player can load the subs externally. So the simplest way is copying the subs into the same folder where videos are and make sure the file names are similar for videos and subs.
Thanks. I just thought I would have to do something with the 'Fonts' folder you included, as well. What's the purpose of it?

MoeDesuDesu (uploader)

User
Well nothing. The videos of this release already have the fonts attached. Unless you have other videos, then you should install them in your system.
Ah, yes. Makes perfect sense now. Thanks!

User
Despite not willing to, I made a patch. Please see the description section for the download link.
Thanks! Looking forward to your BD update.
Can i use your typeset for my subtitle? ofc i will put your credit in. I can't find any other way to contact you besides nyaa

MoeDesuDesu (uploader)

User
@kizanime07: Sure, you are welcome to use the script for your subs. Crediting me or not doesn't matter.
@MoeDesuDesu : Thanks! Your Typeset is so INSANE! Really really hard work!
Like the guy above was saying, you did a superb job with the typesetting. I'm happy to see there are still some fansubbers who care enough to put in the work
Thanks for the great release Sorry if it's a dumb question, but how do I apply the v2 patch?
@MoeDesuDesu Thank you for the subs, love it. @mujiwara download the v2, copy and paste it to the same folder as the video, and rename the subtitle as the video title. Then just play it, the v2 subtitle should be be playing along with the video. I recommend you to use mpv.

MoeDesuDesu (uploader)

User
@mujiwara: Extract the v2 patch in the folder where videos are and run the patch by double clicking on "Patch Moe.bat". New videos are generated and old versions are deleted. You may delete the remaining stuff manually.
Please fix this, every sign in 'result' part is showing like this https://imgur.com/nyBRXj0 https://imgur.com/jH9iFrX https://imgur.com/douzZTk

User
@Fullbuster: That is a font issue and I already fixed it. Thanks.
What do you mean a font issue? Is there any fonts missing from the video? or it is a font issue withing the subtitle file? If there is a missing font, could you tell me which font is missing? And can you post or upload the fixed one? Thanks And one more thing, the subs for episode 2 is out of sync for -500ms with the BD(which is EMBER's release) and there is a few typo in ep 2 subs, 'gurding' and gaurding' which should be guarding. Am sorry if there is any mistake in my statement because I not really speak in english as well as commenting in english, so I hope you get what I mean. Thanks in advance

Simply, when I was working on the subs, I had only Open Sans (bold) installed in my system. I defined the style "Sign" using that font of course set to be not bold: > Style: Sign,`Open Sans`,66,&H00FFFFFF,&H00FFFFFF,&H00000000,&H00000000,`0`,0,0,0,100,100,0,0,1,2.5,0,8,30,30,30,1 So every TS of style "Sign" that is using that font is broken and I didn't notice that until (01/01/2021) I reinstalled OS on my system and installed a set of fonts including Open Sans Regular & Bold. To limit the impact, I made a copy of Open Sans Bold and renamed it and used that in the "Sign" style instead: > Style: Sign,`OpenSansBold`,66,&H00FFFFFF,&H00FFFFFF,&H00000000,&H00000000,`0`,0,0,0,100,100,0,0,1,2.5,0,8,30,30,30,1

MoeDesuDesu (uploader)

User
Fair to say that since nobody reported that issue until today, no one had the "Open Sans Regular" font installed. Anyhow, you can now get the final subs now and forget about all these. Thank you for your support.
Actually, I've just grabbed the subs from your release, and not the video itself. So, how can I get the final subs without downloading your whole torrent? Thanks

MoeDesuDesu (uploader)

User
@Fullbuster: Please see the description section. There is a new release. Thanks.
Sorry, I didn't realise that, thank you so much❤️❤️❤️
