Suzuki Nana has an accident with one of the weird inventions her grandfather made. Thus, she is split into 7 Nanas, each an aspect of her personality. They have to join back together in one year, but until then they have to keep the fact that there’s 7 of them a secret, while also studying for entrance exams and trying to confess to her/their crush.
From the director of Mazinger Z, Gundam G and Getter Robo: Armageddon (what the hell?) comes a cute little comedy with a dash of super-natural. It gets a bit angst-heavy in the final episodes, which is why I recognized the direction to begin with. That, and the sound effects for the battles were very familiar. Also, the action scene in episode 25 made me think of s-CRY-ed. This is also the anime that made me realize how inferior English dubs are. You see, in the Japanese, each Nana has a separate voice (some high raking ones at that), while in the English dub they just use one voice for all characters, which makes it very hard to figure out who is talking at times. As for the show, I liked it. It’s a bit smarter then it seems. If you pay attention, you’ll notice that the original Nana acts quite independently, while the other 6 are almost always acting either in unison or on the same idea. Which makes me think that the machine didn’t so much split Nana in 7, but split her in 2, then split the second one into 6. Like putting a prism in front of a light beam, you end up with 1 white stream and 7 colored ones. Which is also a hint for later.
Take note: the subtitles are VobSubs from the R1, which sadly does not match 100% with the R2 (for some reason). This means that the timing of the subtitles is a bit wonky at times. Also, episode 19 in the R2 does not have the preview on the discs.

DmonHiro, Thanks a lot and keep doing what you do! :D Even if it’s old series, there’s a bunch of them I didn’t watch yet so they’re still new to me. So is Shichinin No Nana, seems perfect for me since I’ve been into love polygon stuff lately :)
SomaHeir
Nicely done!!!
DmonHiro (uploader)
@Montmorency: Technically not a love polygon.
Montmorency
Really? I looked it up on anidb and it has the love polygon and romance tags. Oh well, I’ll still watch it.

It kind of is, and kind of isn’t. There’s 7 girls in love with one guy, but it’s the same girl, all 7 times.
Chrno
I was actually looking for this series. Thanks.

Sorry if it kinda sounds like I’m always complains on something else, and I know your thuoght line at time point
since it similar to mineabout doing your thing while not give a dam.But I was wondering, did you always release things with that kind of file size or it became a new trend in the last releases since around half year ago?
From what I recall most of your releases in the past year didn’t took x3 the size compared to other releases
and it make my HDD cry xDand I bet that with the right encode method it could be sized down a lot (but who am I kidding? most people who ever heard that line from me didn’t gave a dam either, makes me totally miss to days we had good fansubs groups around ahah xD)

OK, I’m assuming you mean the size of the last DVD releases. Any release of mine that says “DVD Remux” is not an encode. It is the file that was on the DVD, just muxed into an .mkv. No encoding was done to those files. That is why they are so large. A DVD is around 4.2 GB. You may have noticed that the episodes in this are 1.6 GB each. Since there are 3 episodes per disc, 1.6 x 3 = 4.2.
What I am uploading are the files fansubs groups would use to make an encode.
As to why? Because I don’t like encoding DVDs. A DVD is a much worse source then a BD, so it will lose quality when encoded.

Umm I see

Thanks for the upload! <3
