One day, for reasons unknown, many of the generals from the Sengoku period are transported to our present world. Said generals are, of course, all female, and must learn to adapt to the the present, where wars are no longer fought. Some adapt easy, taking jobs as idols or models, while others have a hard time finding a purpose in this peaceful world.
Sengoku Collection is a very odd series. It's a 26 anime series with over 14 episode directors. Because of this the episodes themselves are vastly different from one another. One episode might a comedy while the next one will give you depression. You might go form a SOL to a revenge story. My favorite is the one that recreated a famous battle as a fight between children in kindergaden. Some episodes are fantastic, some are terrible, and most are in between. Think of it as a goodie bag where you don't know what you're going to get. What you didn't mention is that each episode is done as entire references to a movie or show. Like the kindergarten episode you mention being done like it's Legend of the Galactic Heroes

You truly are confused then. The trusted status (green) has nothing to do with the resolution of the encode. Did you not notice 480p releases, especially DVD rips, also being green (depending on the uploader)? Also, just because a release is 1080p does not mean it's actually good.

a downscale is also not automatically better than the source.. some lazy encoder could just be decreasing the resolution of the shitty source without actually fixing any of the problems

@Ingenioussubs: I have nothing against fansubs when they are objectively better then CR (and in 2019, most dedicated fansubs were).
lots of content is actually made at an higher resolution than 720 but maybe these are for the people who watch their anime on some shitty 1366x768 laptop
Trap did a encode of all 26 episodes. ~~Not too sure on the quality of the subs,~~ it's on nibl if you are interested. I am actually not even sure if it's a BD or a Webrip.
Going by how it's got multiple sub tracks, it's probably a webrip/dl. _False Alarm!_

@valid you shouldn't download Dmonhiro releases because of his quality encodes. He's not considered a good encoder. He's a good comfort choice if you need a quick grab. Also, sometimes his release is the only decent one.

that makes sense. i dont really care much about the videos resolution if theres a good reason for the choice but something in this just looks too consistent :D and good encoders always like to talk a bit too much about the stuff that they do so not saying anything makes this look even more suspicious :D

Well, since it doesn't HAVE a BD, I'm going to say no. Though even if it did, it would still be a no. I hate stories like that, with an asshole boyfriend that somehow we're still still supposed to like. Shoujo manga is weird, with it's constant themes of abuse.
Yes, it's as Herkz said, sometimes you are the only one who releases that particular show. In general, your releases are quite barebones with bad encodes, and sometimes (https://nyaa.si/view/1195865) you don't even fix the timing errors you even notice whilst working on it.

Well, Interruptor, I don't see you doing anything to fix stuff. My subs are external, it would be trivial for someone who isn't happy with the timing to fix it and upload them separately. Yet nobody ever does. Curious...
I am not the one releasing stuff without fixing it. I also could probably care enough to do so if the series is worth and there are no better releases. No reason to shift the blame, you just put minimal effort in a lot of your releases. You shouldn’t even feel personally attacked when it pretty much is a known fact. I still grab a few of them when I see no other options available (asobi asobase at the time, for example. Now there are better ones indeed).
