Honestly, they are pretty fucking shit.
Excessive use of exclamation marks, ellipsis, badly split lines, punctuation errors, no TL's on the character info/signs. The piss yellow hard subs are hardly the worst of it.
OK, I had a chance to listen to it. These subs are trash. So many translation errors.
@Glordit Char Aznable is right. These subs are bad. Probably auto translation through Google or some shit. Most of the errors are with objects/locations/peeps/animals (this was bad)/Grammar Errors up the wazoo... Personally I love the Yellow Subs. Reminds me of 80's Animu's subtitles.
It's nice that someone made subs for this OVA however.. I wouldn't watch it, unless you REALLY wanna know kinda the OVA story. Even there you'd have to figure out that most of the wording is wrong. However if you are decent in Japanese and can auto correct errors in your head, these subtitles are kinda nice.
Also the HARDSUBBEDs.. Fuck that, seriously.. Even if this was an auto translation and was messed up like it is, I'd probably watch it if & I mean IF it were SoftSubbed...
when are we getting a proper sub of this? I don't know why companies don't license these type of sequels as well... as far as we know that's the last animated terra formars story we'll ever get :/
I'm just glad somebody took the time to sub it at all. the raw has been on nyaa for over a year and nobody else has taken the time to sub it. people complaining over pettiness such as hard subs and bad translations are the reason that so many fansubbers have quit doing fansubs entirely. where do you people get off being so entitled and ungrateful?
How about instead of complaining one of you steps up and does a proper translation yourself. Since you know Japanese so well, put your money where your mouth is.
