***Both edited by me for consistency. Typical Sentai fashion of inconsistent OP/ED Subs. Ep1 will be Romaji, 2 will be Romaji, 3 will be Eng, 4 will be Eng+Romaji, etc.**
***Made it a consistent Eng+Romaji for all episodes. Didn't bother with CR Subs since they appear to be the same script with the same inconsistency, just CR's typesetting.**
***Didn't see any point in going through fixing the inconsistency again, when it's the same translation.**

I'm a noob, so pardon me if this question seems dumb, but I'm trying to understand.
Back when the episodes were airing on HiDive, Golumpa was uploading Dub episodes 01 through 20, varying in a file size of 250MB to 350MB each.
His files were only in English Audio and had no Subtitles, though.
You are getting the video from Crunchyroll, you have Jap and Eng Audio, as well as two Subtitle Tracks.
Is there anything significantly different in video quality?
Or are the extra MB coming from your files being Dual Audio + two Subtitle Tracks?
And if it's the latter of the two above, I'm assuming it would be the extra Audio option that adds most of the extra MB to the file size, but am I assuming correctly?
> I’m a noob, so pardon me if this question seems dumb
You're good, no worries. Honest questions are honest questions ?
> Is there anything significantly different in video quality?
Well it's not so low on video bitrate, so it should be much better, yes. The higher video bitrate is the size difference here.
I found that there is pretty horrible banding though in the video, when any sort of darkness rears its head on screen.
That doesn't seem like the case usually with Crunchyroll though, so I guess the source video they got from the studio was plagued with it and they couldn't fix it? Not sure.
> Or are the extra MB coming from your files being Dual Audio + two Subtitle Tracks?
No. Audio is not that big and definitely not the subs. Audio tracks are probably like 20 MB each and subs not sure but <100KB each maybe. Don't remember. Audio could add size but not in this case. Only way the audio would be like 1GB+ is if it was like a 5.1 High bitrate Movie Audio. Crunchyroll/HiDive isn't high bitrate, so it's nowhere near that big.
If I understood that correctly, what you're saying is that HiDive's video quality is lower than the Crunchyroll's video quality and that that's what is making the difference in size per episode?
Sorry if I've misunderstood you there, I tend to have a difficult time understanding people, especially on things I've got no pre-experience on.
> what you’re saying is that HiDive’s video quality is lower than the Crunchyroll’s video quality and that that’s what is making the difference in size per episode?
In a nutshell, yes. HiDive tends to be like 1-3K Bitrate (Video) for 1080p. Crunchyroll has always been 8K for awhile now.
