so what actually is this ? the first actual "season" had13 ep's, then there was a second season where they went off on an adventure and battled a huge whale-like creature so counting in the movie(s),what actually IS this supposed "second" season

@dead_ferret Re:Zero season 1 was officially a 2 cour entity. All 25 episodes would be considered Re:Zero 1 basically. Some streaming sites may choose to divide them into seasons for their own purposes, but generally when an anime run for 1 or 2 cours, its still considered a single season. so this episode 26 is officially the first episode of season 2. I don't think it's known how many episodes it will be but it may just be a single cour making this a 13 episode-ish season.

@LotusViridis thank you for the info if I remember correctly, HorribleSubs originally did it as two separate seasons, which was why I was asking
