This release replaces the audio in GJM's Kaguya Season 1 release with BD audio.
GJM's TV release switched between audio sources throughout the season. The audio fluctuates in amplitude, causing jarring differences between episodes when binge-watching. In addition, GJM used an audio source in the latter half of the season with noticeable audio artifacting compared to, e.g., CR. I have good reason to believe that their source was Wakanim; I recommend not using Wakanim audio under any circumstances because they use an inferior AAC encoder to their competitors, have been known to intentionally sabotage the quality of their own audio, and have been the cause of broken audio in at least two major fansub releases despite being a far less common choice of audio than CR or TV.
While I'm on the subject, I recommend that encoders never encode to Wakanim's frame-timings. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry about it.) Wakanim sometimes removes important audio or video when making their cuts. An example of this is the beginning of episode 10 of this series.
