mini encode of a terrible upscale blu-ray? o.o why not just encode from the more detailed and better looking dvds?

Can you please tell me what's different about your upload compared to Cleo's? I don't have a good grasp on encodes and such. Edit: Reason why my laptop is quite old and some encodes such as Cleo's make this ringing sound and it hurts my ears.
