Years after the previous series, a new hero rises: Lamunade. He’s a video game expert who one day meets two cute girls, Parfait and Cacao, who sell him a video game. After beating it, he is transported to the DokiDoki Space, where he must stop Don Genosai from awakening an ancient evil: the dreaded Abraham. Things don’t go so well for our hero though, and he is helpless to fight. That is until an unexpected ally comes to help. It’s Da Cider, and he joins the quest to defeat Don Gonosai. But all is not what it seems. Lamunade keeps having strange flashbacks to event he should not know about. Also, the two strangers to keep helping out sound a lot like his parents.
HELL YEAH! Now this is where it’s at. I love this series. It’s got everything. Everything NG did well, VS does better. Better battles, better character development, better story, better mecha designs and most important: better jokes. You still need to know about Japanese games and stuff to get the jokes, but since this show is from the 90s, you have a better change of knowing what they’re talking about. About the story: this shit gets dark. I mean like… DARK. I’m not even sure the ending counts as a happy ending. But the ride was well worth it. What a good place to end the franchise on…
I don’t know who made the subs. I got them from a subtitle site so I don’t know who to credit. DVD remux. Though it seems this and NG are getting a SD BD in August. If the BD has better quality, I’ll be back.
Question: Parfait, Cacao, or Drum? I choose Cacao.

I have seen some of this anime a few years ago. The quality that I downloaded before wasn’t too great but perhaps with this release, it’ll be more watchable! Looking forward to seeing more of it!

Thanks for the share! I watched this as a kid, will definitely get some nostalgia from this.

Where’d all the seeders go?

There’s only one seeder for now: me. And I don’t keep my PC on at night. Should be fine now.

Recently got around trying to rewatch this show. The quality is pretty horrible, not for a lack of you trying to mitigate it though. Is the SDBD any better at all? Are you considering doing a release of it? I’ve watched some pretty horrible VHS releases including of the original a few years back so I can live but I have to say this one is a bit much for a DVD, whoever put it out gave it very little love. And much thanks for all you do DmonHiro.
