![](https://cdn-eu.anidb.net/images/main/28668.jpg) One of my favourite OP/ED pairs. Encoding these NCs is an absolute pain in the bollocks. For starters, they are incredibly rare. I had to purchase them myself to encode them. Second, while the NCOP got a BD release, the NCED only got a DVD release. There *is* a web version of it, but they messed with the frame rate. And third, both of them are VFR. To be specific, the OP is mixed 24i/30p/60i and the ED is mixed 30p/24i. Similar to High Score Girl (and for a more thorough explanation of how 60i is even possible for BD/DVDs, read up [here](https://lightarrowsexe.github.io/moon_blog/interpolation_and_fields/) or [here](https://nyaa.si/view/1247570)). Post-processing included at first making intermediary encodes with the proper framerates assigned to every frame. This was easily the most annoying part since most scenes mix and match the aforementioned framerates. You've got random 60i FX floating in a scene that was otherwise entirely 30p/24i, and just about every scene was 30p/24i as well outside of the final cut in the OP and the chorus in the ED. This has been thoroughly VFR'd, but as this is my first venture into the world of VFR, improvements can likely be made. Not sure if I wanna be the one to do so because damn did I hate this adventure. The rest of the processing involves decently strong debanding for the OP with a detail mask so I don't wipe everything clean, as well as dehaloing/deringing to deal with the poor line art. Since I couldn't descale, I had to fix up the upscale artefacting separately, but even then the source was too starved to fix up everything nicely without seriously compromising detail. Then grain was added. For the ED, stronger deringing and additional motion interpolation were done to keep as much of the lines to play nicely as possible. Since it's a 1080i downscale, you can imagine just how annoying the ringing and shimmering were. This was then followed by a medium-strength deband and graining. I plan on encoding the entire show sometime soonish hopefully, so you can expect that to pop up one of these days.

Could you make Gintama All OP, ED in 1080p ? There are some Songs in middle of many Episodes also.
