2160p vs other 1080p can really see the difference?

This is it :) There's no Anime right now that has true 4K. This is most likely a 2K Anime upscaled to 4K. I remember someone posted her how a lot of "4K" releases are just that. The ones with Gundam and Ghost in the Shell I believe. Still, 2K is still better than 1080p. Don't know much about the audio quality so I won't comment on that. I still hope the day we will get "4K" Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. Might even remake that movie again just for some FFVII Remake references.

Actually this is from the official 4K UHD version. So its not simply a upscaled i think

@Hifumi_l That's what I'm saying. All these official "4K" releases are just 2K upscaled with HDR. I don't really know the specifics itself, but lots did confirmed that at least it's not a true/native "4K" like a lot of this labels are claiming. Still, this is still the highest we can get. So I'm not really complaining.

This is HEVC format, so for 4k, this bitrate is pretty spot on and expected. HEVC x265 is about 40-60% more space efficient than h264, so you're looking at an equivalent 15GB 4k video encode. Small sizes are also expected for movies without film grain, and this appears to be one that didn't have film grain. Anyway, much appreciated, my family likes Eng subs and my friend's family uses Mandarin subs. I just watch in jp.

[Still, 2K is still better than 1080p.] @SomaHeir Hate to burst your bubble, but 1080p is 2k. Different name conventions for the same resolution 1920x1080. Just like 2160p is 4k. And I'd much rather have a 15gb 1080p than a 7gb 2160p. The pixel count may be higher, but the pixelization and color patchiness is a lot worse, specially in dark colors, which means the 4k image will look way less defined than the 2k.

Uum, @Lmv92 isn't 2K 1440P? (2560x1440) 2K has roughly 1.7 times more pixels/ details. However, I do agree that high bitrate 1080P is better than low bitrate 4K. I just watched this version and it's awesome compared to other 1080P here (Thanks OP!)
