i rated the anime a 9/10 when i watched it over 10 years ago, but i don't have memories of it being that good and it's got so many things going against it, a spineless male lead, an overly violent female lead, beat-to-death-but-fine-the-next comedy and a harem setting which never ends well or at all, but the reviews for it on MAL were all good, so i'm gonna give this a shot.

@JoeGP you're comparing Love Hina's release date to another romcom like the new ones, I gotta say Love Hina if not created most of the romcom tropes that exist right now is one of the most popular mangas related. I can't see any other popular manga of its time get more than 24 episodes + OVAs and videogames translated from Japanese to other languages. Not even Toloveru, but let's keep it real that both are from different generations.

I got some rare physical tanks that include both Japanese and English translation of this series. Sadly only got 1-2 volumes. First time I ever seen something like that.
