On May 4th, 2020, I was sent a physical VHS recording of all five Harmony Gold-dubbed episodes of Dragon Ball. This VHS recording is sourced from a different master than the previously-available episodes. Unlike other rips out there, these rips are lossless. Audio is PCM, video is Ut Video, as I had physical access to the tape and VCR unlike the other rips. Enjoy!

Oh, it's five episodes. I thought it'd be something closer like the Latin Spanish version which has about 30~60 episodes available.
But it's still great. Hopefully someone will sync it to Dbox. This dub of Dragon Ball is well worth preserving!
It really is an amazing time to be a Dragon Ball fan right now. We have broadcast audio for DB, DBZ, and DBGT. Someone uploaded a copy of some of the old 90's fansub tapes that people used to buy when they wanted to watch DBZ subbed (before it got licensed). Now we have a tape of all 5 Harmony Gold dub episodes in great quality. The historic value of these are wonderful and great for archival purposes. I'll definitely seed this for a while once I get it downloaded. Thank you for sharing, OP.

Very curious as to the audio quality. The audio quality of the episodes 2-5 that were already available made it very hard to sync them to Dragon Box video.
I am. Next Shen Long release should feature them.
Edit: Not sure if we'll be using these sources tho. While these ones don't crack as much as the other releases, they do sound very muffled.
So the video is poor (as all VHS rips are nowadays) and the audio is muffled and has constant static. What is so good about this and why are the files so big? The quality is very bad. =/
@NobodysLoveMalus Have you heard the audio of other rips? It sounds far worse than this. The audio is loud as all hell and is even more muffled. The video is also saturated to hell and back in the original recordings. This is the best we have heard and seen of this dub by far
No. These ones are much, much more muflled than the other ones. It's hard to hear the dialogue on these. Crackling is the problem the other ones have, but unfortunately, they're still better than these.
That being said, we should still be gratefull to the uploader, and it never hurts to have another source.
