Type : TV Origin : Japan Release Year : 2015 Number of Episodes : 12 Studio : Madhouse Rating : R - 17+ (violence & profanity) Genres : Action, Sci-Fi, Comedy, Parody, Super Power, Supernatural Score : 8.66/10 (MAL) Synopsis: The seemingly ordinary and unimpressive Saitama has a rather unique hobby: being a hero. In order to pursue his childhood dream, he trained relentlessly for three years—and lost all of his hair in the process. Now, Saitama is incredibly powerful, so much so that no enemy is able to defeat him in battle. In fact, all it takes to defeat evildoers with just one punch has led to an unexpected problem—he is no longer able to enjoy the thrill of battling and has become quite bored. This all changes with the arrival of Genos, a 19-year-old cyborg, who wishes to be Saitama's disciple after seeing what he is capable of. Genos proposes that the two join the Hero Association in order to become certified heroes that will be recognized for their positive contributions to society, and Saitama, shocked that no one knows who he is, quickly agrees. And thus begins the story of One Punch Man, an action-comedy that follows an eccentric individual who longs to fight strong enemies that can hopefully give him the excitement he once felt and just maybe, he'll become popular in the process. Container : MKV Codec : aom (AV1) 10bit CRF 30 two pass Resolution : BluRay rip 1080p Audio : Opus 2.0 (VBR @96kbps) Language : Japanese, English Subtitles : English Additional note: HAV1T group encodes using AV1 codec. AV1 is more efficient than HEVC, and retains good visual quality even at low bitrates. Due to novelty of codec, playback might stutter. For optimal viewing experience we recommend using latest VLC or MPV. Audio is encoded using Opus codec at 96kb/s stereo which provides great audio quality. We will continue to use it for HAV1T releases in the foreseeable future. If you notice audio/subtitle desync or weird video artifacts, please comment below with a timestamp, we will try to fix those issues.

So, this is an encode of One Punch Man's 1st season. Not anything new by any means, but this seems to be encoded with the cutting edge AV1 codec, and the somewhat new Opus audio codec. Audio quality is great overall. Can't noticed any difference between the original Blu-Ray I have and this release, even with my best IEMs and headphones on. I have to say, seems like that Opus audio codec is really impressive overall. 10/10 Video quality. Overall? Superb. Better than all current HEVC encodes I've seen so far, with barely any banding present, and sharpness is top notch. Not as good as the Blu-Ray release obviously, since the bitrate difference is so huge, but if I didn't have the Blu-Ray copy, I would not even notice. AV1 10-bit encoding quality is really good, I have to say. 9,4/10 As of May 4th however, I would recommend watching this with VLC Beta on a somewhat recent Android phone(a phone with at least a Snapdragon 820/Snapdragon 636/Helio X20/Helio P60), or with a nice CPU(i5 8400/Ryzen 5 3600+), as currently, decoding performance for 10-bit content is actually better on Android devices. That should be fixed with more recent VLC releases if the current software encoder(dav1d) is updated, and is probably going to increase decoding performance by a long shot. Overall though, I have to say, very impressive encode. 9,5/10, would watch again.
can an i7-4800MQ make it and play this with no dropped frames ?

@Chilled It should in theory, but will probably struggle with intros and very extreme action scenes. Make sure to have the latest video player version. And for Steins;Gate 0 yeah I can add it to my list
@Montec thank you
@Montec can you do Kekkai Blood Battleground and Kekkai Sensen with OVA together?
