[Commie] Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 - 01 [7C9CD75A].mkv (918.5 MiB)
barely any changes since they're really good. mostly the point of this is less shit timing and typesetting, subbed songs, and removing all the extra shit netflix adds to the beginning and end of the video that's not part of the anime.
also since netflix is bad at encoding at their consistency is garbage, i'm combining sources between the h264 and h265 encodes to make the best version of each episode.
>And what do you think your time table is on releasing all 12 episodes?
assuming the episodes don't have much typesetting like it seems, probably 2 episodes a day at least.
*"not enough time to insert good memes !!!"*
There always space & time for good memes.
*"Is this even worth a watch?"*
Yes.
As a burial stone.
*"Wtf is this animation. Why they gotta murder a legendary show with this shit."*

Because:
***MONEY***
The facial animation is so awful. This CG is not terrible overall but not very good either. It's so distracting that I can't focus on the story (if there is one).
While I do miss the traditional animation, the CGI is fine. The main thing folks need to remember is that we're finally get a story which continues on from SAC. Seeing the cast of characters back together put a smile on my face. The only thing I wish was Yoko had been hired back to do the music. While the composer in SAC_2045 really does a great job with the soundtrack, there was always something special about Yoko's compositions.
I've seen some comments from those thinking this is "action only". Clearly they didn't watch all 12 eps, as closer to the end of the arc, there's a lot of detective work being done by the team.
Also, folks who say "fuck Netflix" should think twice. It's because of big companies like Netflix fronting cash, that animation studios are able to stay afloat and not have to produce shows at a 5% loss instead of a 15% profit. Additionally, they don't need to beg fans to buy merchandise just to break even.
*the CGI is fine*
That was a lie.
>90% comments on teasers are about how graphics ridiculusly BAD
outdated by two decades
*Seeing the cast of characters back together put a smile on my face.*
so why not go cheeper & take some audio disk?
*While the composer in SAC_2045 really does a great job with the soundtrack*
again lie - most people say music is distractive
*I’ve seen some comments from those thinking this is “action only”. Clearly they didn’t watch all 12 eps, as closer to the end of the arc, there’s a lot of detective work being done by the team.*
Well, maybe I [can't say] some parts of some GiS. Maybe I can understand something more than “action only”.
That can say about story of 2045 - this is mostly repeating of old motives. Not bad, middle entertaining, but stagnation is not good thing.
Also - new personage with oblivious anime fanservice tricks & moves was bad idea & looked sad to me. Because IMO GiS story was more about serious things & jokes must be also more profound.
*Also, folks who say “fuck Netflix” should think twice. It’s because of big companies like Netflix fronting cash, that animation studios are able to stay afloat and not have to produce shows at a 5% loss instead of a 15% profit. I thinked twice:
especially BECAUSE financial greed show was killed - by forcing of unnecessary things into it by "big company" at using needed production subcontractors (yes, read about therm **corruption** of the dark side)
meanwhile audithory flowed away from another shows by that "clickbait" - here we have reason of losses
So again - for killing industry where someone trying TO DO something new - by industry of maximal marketing (EA games as example for killing entire game series) - Netflix here are bad guys who killed anime.
@EvGaS
Not really sure what the whole "That was a lie." comment was all about... but you are entitled to your opinion.
In any case, we've got a second season coming our way whether you want / are going to watch it or not.
> Spin-offs can't have the original show's name in the title now
It's not a sequel. The show itself makes this very clear from the get-go. In fact, you should already know it's not gonna be very related to the original in terms of setting or plot when there's an 11 year time-skip from Solid State Complex, when SAC 1, 2, and State were only set a few years apart, and there was a causal relationship between the 3.
You also know its a spin-off when:
1. If Section 9 was just going to disband because of the government anyway, that invalidates the numerous attempts at the destruction of Section 9 throughout the series;
2. Motoko left Section 9 at the start of Solid State (off-screen) and was working independently from Section 9, including Batou. Having her "team up" with Batou to be hired mercenaries when the whole point was her independence is a completely different character, and for that matter a completely different cast. As a side-note, this is also the reason their designs are so different, not just because it had to be adapted to CGI (or else the designs would be more reminiscent).
