Let's pray this is the last Orphen torrent I ever have to upload. Due to a request; someone wanted the unedited files from the BD after being ripped. Initially the reason I didn't put those up first is because they needed work and in some ways were no better than the DVD's themselves really. But nonetheless. Here is the monstristy that is the 2 disc BD release of Orphen. Dual audio, all subtitle tracks included and untouched apart from converting them from M2TS to MKV. File sizes range from 1.49GB to 1.53GB each and the bitrate is pretty consistent at 9,000 kb/s or so.. It also includes the unedited extras that came with the BluRay release.
I also have a treat coming up. A very well done upscale of Trigun. 1440p. Looks amazing honestly. Anyhoo. Finally done with Orphen till the real BluRay's drop, in which case I'm sure much more talented people than I will take care of it.

Glad to be of service. Though didn't think I'd do 3 releases LOL. Well learning curves I guess.
First release the DTS audio made up 60% of the file size.
2nd release i forget the damn unstyled subs.
3rd release purely for preservation sake I suppose. Best for multiple people to have it than it be edited by a noob like me then deleted and possibly lost forever.
Might do a Monster Farm (Rancher) release next with the new 960x720 release or Trigun 1440p upscaled; which ever I feel the mood for. Monster rnacher Subtitles need re-timing but would be nice now that there is a DVD copy of the dub out there which doesn't have pixelated TVRips. It's amazing that was the only one available on here DUB wise.
I also probably should get to my 1080p sailor moon project also but eh... Easy stuff out of the way first. Since that requires audio muxing, re-timing and then re-encoding. Won't make the same mistake as last time though. I'll release a x264 and HEVC version this time around.
Also sorry everyone even with our new internet in Australia. My best upload is like 3.5mb/s ... That's if i'm lucky. usually 1-2mb/s. So this one may take a while.
So far it says the highest downloaded so far is 31%. May take a speed. ETA for a full upload maybe 12h... I'd guesstimate 16h? sorry guys. Its best I can do for now till I feel like I can find a comfortable seedbox that isn't a complete ripoff and work right now is scarce due to the situation and I'm tied up with studies. So a seedbox is a little out of reach. Especially a good one.

@Nostalgi now that first round of exams / assignments are over I'm going to work on season 1. Gonna do a quick upload of a new source of Trigun I got which looks A LOT better than what's currently released. It's an upscaled 1440p version. Also plan to remux the 720p version of Monster Farm (Monster Rancher) with the .ass subtitles since those wont take effort. One's an upload, the other a simple subtitle re-time. The Sailor moon one annoys me a little cause I want the English audio to be perfect but good God their lips sometimes don't match up at all so sometimes I'm eyeing it or comparing it to other releases. Just wanted to make sure I had all available resources before I begun.
Debating whether to release season by season or as bundle. Also out of curiosity. Do people like HEVC or do I just have a preference to it? Just so I know whether to upload a purely HEVC version or a x264 version and HEVC. Opinions?
Also didn't expect people to actually want the monstrosities that were the pure rips of Orphen but guess everyone has their own preference or style in terms of coding or collecting.
HEVC was engineered for 4K content, where compression is important, and with the increased resolution of 4K, the effects of its compression algorithms don't have a noticeable impact on quality. However, HEVC adds softness to 1080p content, and IMO the trade-off of compression vs. loss of detail for 1080p isn't worth it.
I think encoders get caught up in the misguided belief that HEVC is better in all cases, and that the only trade-off is more CPU cycles when decoding HEVC media.
HEVC for 4K is recommended, HEVC for 1080p is undesirable unless your primary goal is size on your hard drive.
Which In my case it is... Files seem to just be getting larger and larger. I mean HS HorribleSubs of all things. their 720p episodes are like 600-800mb.. The used to be 300mb
75% is the highest now.. I've uploaded well over 130GB now -.- And I still have the Trigun 1440p upscale to upload after this fml. Why did I decide to give back to this community..
Each to their own. Personally I like it. I re-encoded it to 576p to meet the rule requirements and a HEVC version. But don't think I'll upload it tbh.

I used pride myself on the fact that I always went for the highest file size available and I'm talking about 2010 here. I refused to download the 2nd highest file size unless the first one was out of seeds.This is coming from a guy who had and still has 15TB of storage capacity.
These last few years I am consistently scaling down the file size I download. Now I'm at a point where I only look for the lowest possible file size with as much low compromise on A/V quality as possible. Recently, I have upgraded my hardware and now the HEVC content plays quite smoothly. Now I only look for HEVC, x265, Dual Audio & 1080p content. Now I only go for higher file size if the lower one is out of seeds. I seed more than I did in the past.
I'm only writing this, on a whim, in response to all the comments of this torrent. One last thing, I'm going for the 9.87 GB AAC version as I was having second thoughts about the DTS version and the 75GB version was a definite NO. Thanks a lot for the upload @usifrenegade. Your effort is much appreciated.
Have been looking for this to check out, in case I'd want to buy it. Guess it's not really 480p since the video is mpeg2, and Scan type : Interlaced. :(

TBH I was exactly the same man. bigger =/= better. higher bitrate, bigger size, gotta be better, right? but the x265 slowly started getting better and encoding got smoother and there was so much support for it expanding that now I see some of my older series and think fuck that's massive for 12 episode (like 1.4GB an episode). and sincerely thank you.
You're right, each to their own. Everyone has a preference and as I've become a broken record at this point but I'm REALLLY new to this upload scene and encoding scene for tha matter. Hence Sailor Moon torrent having 63 comments HAHA. Thankfully much of the community are nice and gave me advice (regarding encoding older anime etc). So it's a progress learning.
I want to give back to the community I've been apart of quietly in the background for 15 years. between my 2 hard drives I have 877 series, not including their multiple seasons, with a further 71 movies. I want to one day put up what was lost through time. i.e. the zoids chaotic century series that was erased from the internet for some unknown reason. Someone spliced and diced the audio and unfortunately he was a user like and didn't put his tag so I still want to find who it was and thank them.

Both that 32GB release and this.
other day I noticed also seasons 2/3 of the Beyblade Dub is not up here. I do have copy of them... BUT they're TVRips. 130% without question lol.... also the interlacing is shocking and the quality is just... Piss poor. I might testing some different encoding methods, see if I can bring it up a little. The recent-ish release of Exiled-Destiny seems to be better than my season 1 by the one I have so might just use that for a HEVC release. That is.. If season 2/3 come out looking somewhat reasonable TVRips pre-2010 =/
