Go! Ackman, have a long history with us here at shiteatersubs. It was 3 years ago in March of 2017 when my dear friend Amer donated what we needed to purchase the high priced 1994 and 1997 V-Jump Festa VHS tapes that contained these two very special OVAs. Years before that, terrible copies circulated online that only gave a glimpse of their greatness. My first attempt at ripping them from VHS to digital was with a mono VCR, which led to a below average first encode for both OVAs that ended up being not much better than those lame previously circulated copies I was trying to improve on. Sorry 'bout that! My friend and colleague, Nanto from The Skaro Hunting Society, knows so much more than I do about encoding, and has the right equipment, so I asked him if he'd encode them for us and he happily obliged. So today we have for you the final versions of both Savings Warrior Cashman and Go! Go! Ackman, they're now in crisp HiFi stereo and of course the video quality is much improved over my encodes from 2017. Both were translated by Ken Agatsuma, thanks to him for a wonderful translation of these classic OVAs.
