I've heard that the English dub has changed lines or something in the dub. Similar to what Funimation did to Maid Dragon and Girlfriend Gal. Is it true or nah?

@Nyaako not really because what they're mad about is a change that means the exact same thing as what the sub said, it's not really at all like stuff Funi has done.

You think that, but I think people are either reading too much into it or are over sensitive or just looking for a reason to be salty. Wanting a woman who can cook isn't misogyny but the "old fashioned" idea of women staying in the kitchen, cleaning, not working and being a servant is what is being referenced. It's not like what Funi does where they will put the word in scripts to directly call fans misyognists or license anime just so they can use the names of said shows in different anime scripts to call shows misyognistic. I'm all for going nuclear when it's needed but I don't believe it's needed just yet, if they were to do something again and be Funi levels of blatant maybe or if they for example try to use this situation as an excuse to not dub the rest I'd say going nuclear would be necessary because that would be edvidence that they were just trying to find an out to drop dubbing it.

Yeah....some folks just want to bitch about everything. Seriously, misogynistic can be defined - like MANY other words - with more than one, single "absolute" definition. Among other things it means social exclusion, discrimination, male privilege, belittling women, sexual objectification, violence against women, etc. That said it does *NOT* mean each one of those every time it's utilized. Maybe the writers could have used "androcentrism" - except 99% of viewers would have zero clue what it means, lol.
