@Inokori AFAIK there's only one anon subbing the show for /a/. However, since they use lower quality raws there are now multiple people retiming the subs to Commie's raws. Subbing anon stopped uploading to nyaa after the first episode, most likely because their torrent for episode 1 received quite a bit of drama comments and they don't feel like uploading here anymore. No idea if the anon who subs this show is the same anon who subbed Star Twinkle.

im glad for all anon does, herkz could be a little nicer though, although the show can be watch without subs by some, not everyone understands Japanese and need a translation for the more complex lines. anon does a good job and im uspet some of y'all bullied the anon off this site because of your comments, the subs are actually ok and if i had a problem with them i'd comment and say something is wrong, so just take what you can get and like i said if you can do better, put some effort and sub the series yourself!! the Brony community is a lot less toxic than this community as we are more about love, tolerance and acceptance which some of the rude comments can learn!

"do it yourself if you think you could do a better job" is a dumb argument in general, but i've actually subbed 3 seasons of precure already, so you might want to avoid that one (also, you know, i've been providing high quality raws for 7 years straight now).

so you subbed 3 season ok? but what your doing now? well raws are good so i really can't argue with you there because you are doing work but criticizing someone doing work, just accept what they do, we dont need any negativity in this community is the point im trying to get across. so basically let the people sub and keep your comments to yourself if you can say anything nice, you never know what people go thru, anxiety, depression and stress are very real and some people have different way of coping with it, and that can include subtitling a series, and if you cannot send any positivity, you are part of the problem. so instead of criticizing lets be thankful for what they provide

I can not believe I went through the hassle of making an account in nyaa just to comment on this pointless argument. Enjoy my wall of text. Since it looks like we picking sides, mine is with herkz. It is a name I know and recognize for several years now and not just from his work with the precure series. Meanwhile the anon who has been subbing for the past few years remains as that an anon. His work is appreciated but if memory serves me right he also is the reason ladholyman/maceart over at doremi fansubs baton passed subbing precure in the first place. Getting "triggered" and avoiding uploading stuff in person is not exactly a good sign either. After all it resulted in yet another anon, who comes off as someone kissing a** already with that description. I have been watching precure for the past 12 years, any other old timer like me probably smiled in delight when herkz uploaded the first ep 2 weeks ago. I have seen 2 episodes raw. So if in the end the anon decides to simply stop translating altogether i'd pay it no mind, since my trust is in commie providing the raws.

im guessing the are using the low quality raw because of you herkz, im guessing due to the criticism, they dont want nothing to do with your raws and yes commie is providing the raws but with NO SUBS, some people can watch without subs, but some DO NOT UNDERSTAND JAPANESE, and one thing i like is coming as a community and discussing our favourtie shows together, some people can watch with no subs others cant herkz has a right if they dont want to sub the series anymore but let others who dont understand Japanese enjoy the work of someone who trying to do a service for them and using a low quality raw does not mean the subs are bad, provide me with another example if you can. from what ive seen. the subs are fine and the translation is good. i have no problem watching the raw as my Japanese is still kinda ok, but i feel for the fans that need the translation to follow the story! so y'all can be entitled to your OPINIONS, imma let Anon wow us with a good translation of the show!

They're not trying to help anon improve, they're discouraging him from doing any more subbing. Anon's work may not live up to your standards but for people who still rely on subs, their work is still better than nothing. Comments telling him to drop the show are completely unwarranted. If you can watch the show without subs then you should have no stakes in this. Either share actually constructive criticism or mind your own business and just watch the raws. Ah, good to see that the fandom for this marvelous series is still a toxic wasteland filled with constant complaining over literally everything. However, if y'all could tone it down before we're sent back to GoGo! days and the series stops getting subs, that would be great.

A bunch of (mostly I'm assuming) grown men watching watching a cartoon made for little girls never really struck me as the place you'd go for mature conversation in the first place. I say as I'm 4 seasons away from being completely caught up to the franchise. I totally agree with the idea that criticism needs to be had if anyone wants to improve, but some people could certainly stand to not sound like assholes when they're providing it. That said, letting a couple random people on the internet who are being mean dissuade you from something you enjoy sounds like a waste of energy. Just filter out their attitude and/or mean words and move on, taking just the legitimate criticism. Not worth getting in a tizzy about these things.

That's debatable. It depends on how far the translation is to the actual lines delivered. Even the first commenter to tell anon to stop said >It’s not unwatchable and I didn’t notice any glaring translation errors while skimming through They are just guessing anon is going to make huge mistakes in the future. So far no one has pointed out specific mistranslations that completely change what the characters say. I'd say so far anon's work is still better than nothing.

For Herkz, if it doesn't live up to his stupid high standards (and nothing does, because he's a narcissistic jerk who loves complaining and everything not done by him is SHIT to his eyes), it doesn't deserve to exist and people who don't know japanese shouldn't watch/play/read it. It's not worth it taking such a self-centered toxic person seriously

Who gives a fuck about a video, yes quality is indeed better but bitching over video quality is so fucking pathetic. If you don't like the release move along and don't download it, there's a back arrow on your browser, use it if you don't want to download a release. It's amazing that some releases can get to like 50+ comments and it's generally always related to bitching/whining about video/sub quality or the meme cartel.
