Did a vinyl rip at 96khz, cause apparently there's stuff in the 35+khz range.
It's not perfect though, as unlike a CD rip, it's not just a bit for bit copy, but whatever.

There is a lot of talk at head-fi.org regarding the rationale behind cd vs vinyl rips. Generally what most people feel is that they can't distinguish between cd and vinyl rips except for the pops that happen in vinyl and hence feel that cd is better. Personally I have felt that a cd rip @ 44Khz/16bit seems more than enough even on a high end headphone.
@im-mad-scientist @FluffyDiscord it's a real shame because other than the clipping, it's got better dynamic range than the cd rips
will we have a better rip or does the problem lie with the source vinyl itself?
@Bill_G
There could be a problem with the vinyl itself. [This](https://nyaa.si/view/1015064) RADWIMPS vinyl rip also has some clipping in the "4. かたわれ時" track
