Nice but blame GJM subs for missing name, some mistranslation words and she/he instead name ??

@omnipotent500 They translate it that way because it would sound weird in English. They are translating it that way that the meaning would be as close to the original as possible. Yea with cases like “Onee-sama” it’s I guess impossible so they could leave it as it is but they propably want to make ENGLISH translation. Actually, if you know what onee-sama means you will most likely hear Kuroko say it and will know what she said anyway and if you don’t know what it means you will not care.

@Hexx Well, next time we won’t download it from GJM… because I’m disappointed.

By the way both GJM subs and Commie subs are almost same, but sucks

By the way both GJM subs and Commie subs are almost same, but sucks

agreed. avoid the cartel at all costs.

Gremlin’s the only good subs

Well, next time we won’t download it from GJM

who is “we”?

By the way both GJM subs and Commie subs are almost same, but sucks

bruh.

“we” mean all of us lmaooo @Basheer33

HexxTheSwagger only problem is the way she is using it they should just translate it as mistress, sissy is more a family thing not a stalker/romantic interest thing. Tho they should look at the context of how Kuroko is using the word when shes trying to get in Misaka’s pansts mistress when shes just bieing sisterly sisy would work.

The meaning changes based on the context of its use and the relation of those involed so Onesama can mean 10 different things depending on how/who uses it.

Kinda like Nakama in One piece it’s used used as a mix of comrade, friend, compatriot, colleague to almsot a sibling/family level so using any single word dose not really give a good sense of the depth of the words meaning. American English and Japanese are seemingly as clumsy as each other.

PS:I am not a translator just a bad fiction writer. LOL

if you can’t afford to buy original, non-pirated anime, don’t bash people who gave it to you for free in the internet.

if you want to be so choosy and pick on the translator anyway, you should first look in the mirror and ask yourself, have you ever put as much as efforts as those translators who you criticized while being anonymous on internet. some of you might be a translator yourself, so why would you even pick a fight or argument with other translator? You yourself should already knows what it feels to be denied of your efforts, so why would you do the same as those scumbag who did that to you, to someone else who’s trying to provide something to others?

To me, GJM, or any other translator did well on trying to translate things as close as possible with the meaning of what they’re translating.
I am not their supporter, but I never had any problem watching GJM sub.

just to be fair i can watch raw anime and understand around 70-85% of the meaning itself, and i find this small issue of Onee-sama things doesn’t even matter at all.

I pray that all of the people who criticized other’s works and efforts got criticized hard the next time you people put so much efforts in something. Amen.
