Raw source: Ohys-Raws Chinese translation: 幻之字幕组 / Mabors-Sub Resolution: 1080p Seeing as none of the real sub groups seem to want to pick up this series I'll give it another shot. Same deal as last time, this is translated from the Traditional Chinese translation so it wont be perfect. The translation was harder this time since I only had the Chinese hardsub to work with. I added softsubs to the Ohys-Raws release as it seems to be the most popular release. I also included the subtitle file in case anyone just wants that.

These are not in a very good state currently, easy to fix mistakes like poor translation of kojou's "beyond my control" phrase as "resistance" . forgetting to be specific about certain items when they explicitly said what they are, also double negative sentences. I really appreciated your work on the last 3 eps of s3 while not perfect where very watchable, this however i wouldnt recommend without some knowledge of japanese.

Thank you for the criticisms. If you (or anyone else) provide me with a list of corrections I will gladly make a new version. Most of the things you mentioned also existed in the Chinese translation. Unfortunately this is the downside of a second translation. Any imperfections from their translation are compounded by my own. And last time the Chinese translation was closer to the source material in my opinion.
No problem sorry for the late reply, I dont actually know japanese well enough to provide the greatest feedback but ill put time stamps to a few that i remember. 00:34-"I'm afraid that is why we cannot afford to investigate..."- i find double negatives quite awkward, it could simply be changed to "that is why we must investigate". perhaps not as a literal a translation but it could be reworked. 05:14-could be changed to: "Unlike you, it was beyond my control". or more literally, "for me, it was out of my control." (tho i think the second sounds awkward) 08:18- "I fear is it some kind of magical artefact". She literally says "That is likely (a) node's magical artifact." or "That is likely a magical artifact of node." (hard to understand how to interpret the proper use of node, since its kinda weird for a 'place' to be the owner of something so perhaps the second is a safer translation). If im not mistaken in the Light novel they translate these a Sorcerous devices. or atleast thats how they translate the weapons used in last episode of season 2(which might be considered the same as this not forsure haven't read far enough). Not sure if this is enough, to be fair most is conveyed okay it just jarring when i hear something in Japanese that i usually see translated in a certain way and then read the subtitle and its a clumsy English sentence thats relatively close to what they said. Perhaps ill go through it more thoroughly in the future but I currently dont have the time edit it properly. Again thanks for the upload, this series would likely still be incomplete without your contributions and for that im grateful. also this became alot more wordy than i expected lol.

Can a native Japanese speaker confirm how these lines should be translated?
thank you very much
I think the word you should have used in reference to the rainstorm is monsoon, not hurricane. Hurricanes are much more serious than what was shown, and if there were a hurricane hitting their area they would have all known about it well in advance and wouldn't have been outside, and probably wouldn't have had school that day at all let alone supplementary lessons scheduled for right when it was about to hit. Also, and this is more semantic since it wasn't what was shown anyway, but even if it were a full-on mature tropical cyclone, in that latitude it's called a typhoon, not a hurricane.
Thank you very much.
