12 bit video. The release I sourced the subs from had 3 separate sub tracks, so I thought "why not," and kept them all. As it's an older show, it really looks like it's a 720 upscale unfortunately for the guy who requested this, though I neither did anything about it nor verified this theory. Some careful filtering could definitely make it look a bit better while making it smaller, but I didn't think it was bad enough to approach. While I don't consider myself one of the true puritan encoders, I do tend to lean in that direction and so have done no work to it.
