Fuuck, I skipped this show, cause I thought it would be shit. Now seeing how many watch it, and all the praise...I need to check it out!

The advice given here is usually exactly true. Tons of shows are nothing like they appear. (Beastars) Always try and watch the first few eps before making the call. However, there are enough shows that your off-the-cover impression will prove to be correct too. (Stand My Heroes: PIECE OF TRUTH) This specific show is, in fact, an isekai/MMO/kawaii/moe anime; just like it says on the tin. If none of that's your thing ... Edit: I am patiently waiting to see what they are foreshadowing with the serious-tone action incognito hero plot and the Sally sub-protagonist.

@Oblivion Good to see a fellow "off the cover" person. I can almost always figure out just by the poster whether I'll like a show, worked out with every show I like this season.

Everyone watching this show is weird for wanting to watch a small girl get beaten. Loli shows in general are terrible. Like, really. If you're gonna max out your defense, why aren't you wearing armor that covers all of your body parts and basically makes you tank? for sex appeal? on a small girl? fuckin pedos.
