If you encounter any playback issues with a GJM release, please make sure you are using the most recent version of MPC and xysubfilter, or mpv.
It is highly recommended that you use mpv.
Please note that there may be minor rendering differences between MPC/xysubfilter and mpv.

Friends and I had some super bad hitching at 2:21 (also the sign doesn't even show up), 3:25, and 7:34; all three seem to be due to the subs. We're all using MPC-HC with XYsub as suggested, and I've tried updating everything but it's just as bad if not worse. Oddly using MPC's internal filter over XYsub fixed the bit at 3:25 but the others still freeze/stutter super hard.
Not sure what/if there's anything else I can or should do outside of trying MPV instead, but if anyone has any suggestions it'd be vastly appreciated.
Alright, took a little figuring out (didn't have it available by default), but I figured it out and it seems to be working fine. Hopefully that'll stick and not mess anything else up. Thanks much for the assist!
having same problem with @Sum_Gai but i don't quite get what to do next after installing regassfilter
checked around the net for a how-to's but i'm not really sure what's supposed to happen or what i'm supposed to look for or do next to make the subs show without freezing for 5 seconds and totally jumping to where the audio is
could i get some help here?
