Basically, this is a rebroadcast of the entire show, but 2 episodes are per episode now, so it'll be 13, 1-hour long episodes. There will be new content scattered throughout. I would watch it, as it might contain very important scenes that didn't make it into the original anime.
The new season starts in April. Don't know how you didn't know that.
