I'm back with a new release after I initially shared my BluRay Remux of the raw BDMV rip now that there are subs out. Note, that these are the bioquartz subs which are missing subtitles for the last 36 seconds, so I suggest you wait for a newer release once better subs come out. What's different from my remux release and the other releases we have out right now? I took feedback from my initial release to make this a better one, so now there are chapter markers generated from the original BDMV rip, and since people wanted a smaller file size I encoded the original BluRay video to H265 and compressed the audio to lossless FLAC. What does this mean? You get pretty much original BluRay quality in a much smaller file size. The audio quality is the exact same as the 2 channel PCM audio track from the BluRay but is a smaller file size thanks to FLAC compression. I also left out the 6 channel audio tracks because they're very big and most people don't need it, but if you want it, download the MKA file from the extras folder in ReinForce's release here: https://nyaa.si/view/1201446 this will work with my release and should work with others too. The video quality looks the exact same when compared to the original BluRay video by eye or using comparison tools to compare screencaps.. I will include my proof and testing below. Video was encoded from the original BluRay to H265/HEVC for the best possible quality to size ratio using the best quality encoder preset, no filters and constant quality QP 16. With these settings I was able to drastically reduce file size while maintaining source level video and audio fidelity. I recommend using MPV (w/ opengl-hq) or your choice of player + MadVR for best quality playback on windows. This is by far the best quality release under 30gb out right now, and probably will be until better subs come out. This release can always be used with better subs when they come out anyways. Feel free to ask questions here, and I appreciate those of you helping me seed. EDIT: Better subtitles here https://nyaa.si/view/1202063 has the missing subtitles at the end and lyric subtitles too.
